| The Aj Ty v IT association was established in 2012 with the aim of motivating and supporting girls and women in the information technology sector. With its activities, it strives to disrupt social stereotypes about women in IT; build a community; and empower young girls from the age of eight, high school students, adult women and computer science teachers through special educational programmes aimed at helping them start a career in IT.
The association also has intense cooperation with IT departments at universities. In ten years of its existence, more than 42 000 girls and women have participated in their workshops, training courses, and academic programmes. Also thanks to us and our partners, the percentage of girls at ICT colleges has risen to the current 17% (from starting 5 %).
