In 2023, we are planning events on topics beneficial to business and sustainability. The intention is that they not only attract your attention, but also enrich you with new knowledge or engage in an open discussion. We will bring you more details about the planned events that we are already working on in an upcoming edition.

A Christmas party like nevere before, and not only because of the pandemic pause...

Advent is the time of Christmas parties. However, we decided to invite you to a special Christmas edition of (already popular) British Breakfast. The idea appealed. So we met on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 with live music, an attractive program and delicious food.

The guests were welcomed by Žaneta Kúdelová, Executive Director of BritCham and Miroslava Remenárová, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of BritCham (in the photo on the left).

The inspiring performance of lecturer Olívia Hurbanová from High Brows educational agency offered a new perspective on the perception and use of creativity at work and in life.

An exclusive lecture for our event prepared by fashion stylist & consultant Andrea Ziegler showed what a well-chosen outfit can do and how big the power of colors and accessories is: it can help you acquire a customer, strengthen your employer's brand or open the door to getting a better job.

The Christmas breakfast took place in pleasant premises near Hub Hub Coworking, where we are based, in The Nook restaurant.

As part of our Public Affairs activities, we participated in selected events with representatives of the government and state administration in order to obtain ideas and information for our members, and also use such opportunities to present your topics. That is why we were also present at the annual conference of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, which was organized in December by the National Implementation and Coordination Authority (NIKA) together with the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia. Watch the speech of the European Commissioner for the Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, in which he mentioned the challenges and successes of the Recovery Plan, also specifically for Slovakia.

Not all of the speakers were able to participate due to the then current events in the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic, but their representatives also brought useful information.
