British businesses have had a challenging year in China during 2021. From the Data Security Law to the Double Reduction Policy, regulatory developments have caused shockwaves through the foreign business community.

The British Chamber of Commerce in China has recently produced a Business Sentiment Survey 2021-2022 which crystallises how UK companies have fared over the past year and tells you all you need to know about their outlook for 2022 and the challenges they'll face.

Join us to hear from Steven Lynch, Managing Direct of the Chamber of Commerce in China and Julian MacCormac, Chair of the Chamber and Country President of Rolls Royce, to find out:

  • What are the top challenges facing UK business in 2022?
  • How has China's recent regulatory crackdown been impacting foreign investor confidence?
  • How do UK companies feel about China's 'common prosperity' drive?

We discuss the survey results and read into the latest economic trends in the China market.

Please note that this is an internal event for Trade teams within the Chamber Network.
