Goodbye September, Hello October!

I don't know about you, but for me between back to school and back to business, September has just flown by. 

 

As the winter months approach, the business community is still learning to manage COVID-19. Organizations are having to keep up with changing COVID protocols, while, ideally, anticipating and preparing for future health issues. With this in mind, we’re helping to organise the Health and Wellbeing event during Covid-19 pandemic on 20th October, which will bring together the public and private sector to share factual information, to learn more about the Covid automat and to minimise disruption and help businesses prepare for the next wave of Covid-19.

 

While Covid-19 is rightly at the front of people’s minds, we mustn’t forget the other global challenge which presents a threat, but also opportunities for our businesses: Climate change.

The Leading role of Sustainable Buildings and Green Energy in Slovakia Economic Recovery is another event not to miss on 27th October! Buildings are one of the largest consumers of energy in cities and they are a major source of greenhouse gas emissions – cities cannot meet climate targets without optimising building energy efficiency. We have companies in our Chamber that are leading the way in their sectors and it will be great to hear about their ongoing projects.

 

We are passionate about creating opportunities for businesses from any sector and any size, and helping them to be inspired, to learn and to network with key stakeholders and business leaders. The Speed Business Meeting that we co-organised with the International Chambers was very popular and offered a great opportunity to build relationships with members of the ChamCham community. The annual Golf Trophy 2021 in Sedin was another great success. Many thanks to all the organisers, sponsors and participants!
