Dear Reader,
Welcome to the latest edition of the British Chamber of Commerce Newsletter! Despite still facing Covid restrictions, I really hope 2022 will be a much better year for us all!
Businesses may be facing unprecedented challenges these days, but by working together we can seize new opportunities. The Chamber brings business leaders together to share best practice, make informed decisions and be successful.
And the need for us to connect has never been greater. That's why we kicked off our programme of events in 2022 with a successful online speed business meeting with the other international Chambers.
We will continue working closely with members to create joint events where businesses can get inspired, learn and network with key stakeholders and business leaders.
We will collaborate with the public sector as a strong economy needs strong collaboration between government and businesses. We promote communication between policy decision makers and businesses affected by them.
With the UK leading the way in climate action with its COP26 Presidency, our Chamber is keen to promote sustainable growth with a balanced focus on profit, people and the planet. It's our mission to see your business grow, so feel free to reach out if you have an idea where we could collaborate on.
We are working on lining up lots of interesting events for you this year and looking forward to seeing you there!
Finally, our colleague Diana Pokorna is moving on to a new, exciting chapter in her life, so we wish her all the best and thank her for her amazing support for the Chamber over the past three years.
Kind regards,
Hajni Hayler
