The British International School Bratislava is inviting you to a Virtual Parent Academy on Thursday 28 January 2022.

Parent Academy is a series of webinars delivered by teachers from the school and Nord Anglia Education colleagues. It covers topics that we believe are interesting for parents.

In this workshop, Ms Nash Wanklin will be explaining what STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) is, why it is such an important feature of education today and which essential skills your child is developing whilst involved in STEAM projects. She will also be giving some top tips on how you can support your child in the development of these skills as well as some ideas for fun, practical activities your child can do at home.

Meet our team

Parent Academy sessions are a great way to meet some of the educators from our school and the wider Nord Anglia family. You can ask them questions at the end of each session.

Format

Parent Academy takes place on Zoom. Simply click the link sent to your email to open it from any web browser. All you need is a device connected to the internet, ideally with a microphone and camera. Sessions run for around 30 - 45 minutes, with a Q&A at the end.

Everyone is welcome!

The events listed on this page are open to our community and any parents thinking about joining BISB.
